When starting Word it shall always start with Document1. The next time one create a new document it will be number 2 and so on.

In my case Word does not start on 1 after having been closed and then started again. Word keeps on showing accumulated numbers.

Can anyone tell me tell me what causes this?
    Registry setting corrupt?

    Thanks for any help!

    Regards
    Bjorn

      Hi BAM

      Thanks a lot.

We found the problem. It was caused by another problem; a procedure, prepared to collect a document ID, was not installed on the computer. (A template contains macros for generating a document, a NOTE, and calls for a document ID, and when the macro cannot find the ID it just waits and waits; anyway the problem is solved)

      Thanks again!
      Bj
