I have inherited files from someone who at one point had excel spreadsheets that linked to other spreadsheets.
The current versions of these spreadsheets do not link to other sheets, but some property of the file still makes Excel think that it is.
When I open the spreadsheet I get the message:
The workbook you opened contains automatic links to information in another workbook.
Do you want to update this workbook with changes made to the other workbook?
To update all linked information click yes
To keep existing information click no
There are no links in the spreadsheet I am opening.
What property of the file can I change so that Excel no longer sees this file as linking to another file?
