Our test machines are missing the following patches but our WSUS appears to be set correctly.  The WSUS got restored from a VM snapshot last month but otherwise it seems to be working and correctly configured with “Windows 2012 R2” product and “Security Updates” selected.

    4565622 / 4565585

    4565613 / 4565580

    For example, we did find:

    • 2020-07 Security and Quality Rollup for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.5.2, 4.6, 4.6.1, 4.6.2, 4.7, 4.7.1, 4.7.2, 4.8 for Windows 8.1 and Server 2012 R2 for x64 (KB4566519)
    • 2020-07 Security Only Update for .NET Framework 3.5, 4.5.2, 4.6, 4.6.1, 4.6.2, 4.7, 4.7.1, 4.7.2, 4.8 for Windows 8.1 and Server 2012 R2 for x64 (KB4566468)

    But not

WU and WSUS only show/offer the bundle Rollup for all .NET versions (e.g. KB4566519)

the separate rollups updates for each .NET version are only offered via MU catalog

      (yes, 4.6, 4.6.1, 4.6.2, 4.7, 4.7.1, 4.7.2 are all one version per update)

      Oh bother,

OK, I’ll open a support ticket with the network scanner on why a system with the group patch is being tagged with missing the individual DotNet version specific patch.

Hello Victor ORear, you generate the reports from WSUS servers by going for these steps. In the start go for the Administration and Reporting category and then to the Reporting > WSUS Reports. Now pick a directory where lies the report you need to create. Here locate the report from the list of the reports that have been made and choose it. After you have chosen the report, pick the option of Run Report. You can press https://appuals.com/how-to-generate-reports-of-your-wsus-server-and-other-managed-computers/ this link to learn more. In the end open up the Report Window with the report details as it might take some time so just wait for a while.
