I’ve only recently purchased a new laptop, with Windows 10 Pro installed, after using Windows 7 for many years.
Still trying to come to grips with quite a few differences between the two OSs, but in particular Windows Update.
Have read numerous posts, both here and elsewhere, regarding wushowhide.diagcab and using it to see what updates are available for my system.
BTW, I updated to Version 1709 (Build 16299.309), apparently successfully, a couple of weeks ago.
My question is – why, when I run wushowhide, doesn’t it show any of the April 2018 updates?
Only a Windows Defender definition update shows, occassionally, if I haven’t updated it manually for a while.
I’ve checked the Update history, and the only updates installed are those from March 2018.
