We have long been used to recommending alternate apps but I think it is much more advantageous if we can learn to adapt and live with out-of-the-box. My exception to this approach is StartAllBack.

Any alternative software for Windows features is better than anything Microsoft can do.

Totally agree.  When I’m remotely fixing Win PCs (friends and family) if I did not know how to unwind many user caused issues, fix drive errors, and correct risky user habits without out 3rd party utilities I’d be trouble.  That said, when I switch to Win 11, I will install StartAllBack.  It’s a rare exception.
