Last August I had a problem with YouTube and SeaMonkey which was quickly resolved with the help of this forum.
Today I have an even worse problem. The YouTube home page doesn’t load properly. I see a number of gray rectangles and nothing else. It looks like placeholders for videos and their descriptions, but the actual content doesn’t fill in.
Everything was fine last night, but this morning, with no changes to my system, this problem is occurring. Apparently some change was made to YouTube.com overnight.
I can play individual videos that I bookmarked in SeaMonkey, but when I do so none of the video suggestions that normally appear on the right show up.
I’ve tried everything I can think of including:
- Clearing my SeaMonkey cache
- Deleting YouTube cookies
- Making sure no YouTube content is blocked in the NoScript add-on
But nothing has worked.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance for your help.
P.S. I did launch YouTube in IE and it worked fine. I am running Win 7 Pro x64.
