      Thank, Hans. Interesting that Outlook “apparently” accepts the distribution list as valid …

      After trying Hans’s suggestion and experiencing the same problem regardless of the version of Adobe Acrobat I installed, I bit the bullet and created a new user account, transferred the appropriate files and settings and set-up email accounts. Everything works fine in the new account. So, I’m leaving the remnants of the old account around for a while to make sure everything still works correctly. Then I’ll remove the old account files and free up some disk space.

      kaplinb,

      Thanks for your suggestions.

      1. File association – don’t know what the attached file is but I cannot save it to anything. Right-clicking only gives me a link location save.

      2. Repair AA 7.0 – can only perform from AA 7.0 CD since rundll32.exe is intercepted. Even through the CD, tried twice, didn’t help.

      3. Update to AA 7.0.8 – cannot because AA intercepts update with the same message.

      I’ll see if Hans’s suggestion (above) helps. Right now, I just installed AA 6.0 since it works without a problem.

      Hans,

      Yes, this is what I thought as well. I’ll see if that works.

      Hi, John,

      Every time stamp in Outlook uses the 12-hour clock format – message times, task times, calendar/appointment views.

      Thanks, – Al

      Yes, thanks … but somehow Outlook has decided to lock the time format as the 12-hour clock! Most strange.

      Jan,

      This worked so well that I also incorporated automatic generation of the desired table with the cursor left in cell 1.

      Thanks again,

      Many thanks for your reply.

      >> Have you tried it manually to see whether the CommandButton will still work?
      No, the CommandButton doesn’t work because when Word performs the paste operation, it assigns new numbers to the pasted CommandButtons and doesn’t replicate the CommandButton VBA code. So,

      Private Sub CommandButton11_Click()

      End Sub

      when pasted becomes

      Private Sub CommandButton21_Click()

      End Sub

      If someone could recommend an elegant procedure that would replicate the table, CommandButtons, and CommandButton code, that’d be great. Otherwise, I’ll just create a Word template with enough tables for the specific purpose.

      Thanks,

      Groan bash. After all the attempts I made to “find it”, I concluded that the “Click to add content” box is embedded / non-modifiable code. Yes, indeed, this is very disappointing, to say the least.

      Many thanks,

      Thanks, Hans. I’m trying to make a mindless slide layout for a 3R x 2C “add content” slide. I cannot figure out what that “add content” box is. It’s not a control box collection and there’s no VBA code behind it.

      Joe, I was under the (mistaken) impression that unregistering held only until the next restart. Thanks for clarifying.

      It appears that this is a one-time solution. By this I mean that you have to do this process each time you (re)start. Is this correct? If yes, can I just place a tilde (~) in front of the zipfldr.dll file so that XP can’t find it and install it?
