There’s only one way to deal with this, which is just another example of corporate dysfunction

      a) Group with a decent number of other well-known Windows commentators – one Commentator is never listened to, no matter how well respected by users (problem: many will be vocal in the ‘community’, but are scared to ‘bite the hand that feeds them’ and chew their fingernails about potentially threatening their MVP status

      b) Write a brief ‘open letter’ in plain English to the guy at the top (i.e. Satella) with the last paragraph proposing three steps to a solution to avoid further customer issues

      c) Prep mainstream media, so that enough are interested enough to create a snowball effect

      d) Go public in mainstream media and social media, directly aiming it at the guy at the top

If all goes well (i.e. the guy at the top feels defensive)

      1) He’ll say he was unaware of the strength of feeling (despite earning zillions to be the go-to guy)

      2) He’ll thrash around firing/moving people

      3) With any luck the corporate roulette wheel will stop on the right number and a good/better manager will be appointed for the department in question
