Post must name particulars for software updates:

Windows 7 64x / Updates – September / Programs

September is trouble free.  I just received a Windows notification for 6 – updates as follows:

2 – Office 2010 / Outlook 2010 / Word 2010 / Rollup Oct Win 7 64x  – 4041681. /  MSRT  Oct Win 7 64x  – KB890830

I will hold off until next month after reviewing Ask Woody.

Simplest solution is to use a restore point before your download.

I show two updates for this security update and others. Windows 7 64x and 32x, 2010 Office Professional 64x only. But interchange with 2013 & 2016 Office products.

You are stuck – just get out! Use the Restore Point, it is simple.

Windows 7 update has 2952664 for download after it was hidden. The was listed as a windows 10 nuisance. I hid this again.

I have no intention of ever downloading Windows 10 and followed all the directions about uninstalling and hiding KB3035583 and kb2952664. I have windows 7 home.

KB 3178690  & KB 3191855 not installed in Windows 7 64 bit office 2010 profession. Please tell me if I am safe.
