Interesting, I’m getting the same behavior from (only) the Washington Post website.  AV scans are all clear.

Probably should delete your attachment, crop and resubmit to remove personal information.

You need to be logged in (goducks25).  Select file, near the bottom of the page.

I normally boot into it via a bootloader with Linux Ubuntu and Windows 11 on the menu.

windows 11 disk partition is un-bootable

What happens when you attempt to boot Windows 11?

My wife uses Yahoo Mail.  She has decided it’s more of a PITA to fight with Yahoo over the UI than to adapt to the New Yahoo Mail.  Good luck with the Taxes.

Yes, the 718MB partition is the WinRE recovery partition.  It needs 250MB of free space to update successfully. This link  to a minitool partition wizard tutorial explains resizing the WinRE partition.

You do not need to do anything.  Ignoring the failed WinRE update will not cause problems other than the 24H2 update.  Microsoft may eventually fix their mess.

Windows disk management will correctly report the size of the recovery partition but will incorrectly report it as empty.  Minitool Partition Wizard will correctly report how much of the recovery drive is both used and unused.  Using Minitool Partition Wizard to look at your partitions is risk free.
