Yes, but if I understand correctly, He restored an image of his “being repaired computer “ onto the rented computer and now that computer says it is not properly activated.

This was in reference to using Tracfone’s website to add airtime, not going online with the phone.

Just a note, Tracfone’s website has occasionally stumbled for me using Firefox.  Edge has always worked.

Windows 11 still has the old imaging program “backup and restore (windows 7)” located in the old control panel.  This is not the same as the recently added “windows backup” (this is microsoft) that appears to move settings to a different computer.  Might be worth the time to try.  At least the price is right.

Just guessing – Sometimes images fail because the drive being imaged has a partition with not enough free space to create the shadow copy.  I don’t know how Macrium would react to that.

And after clicking “on a hard disk”, clicking <refresh> (in the box where your drive should appear) doesn’t find your drive and doesn’t show an error message?  Sorry about all the questions.  Just trying to understand the issue.
