The flaw allows messages to appear as if they are kosher. It does not allow viewing / decrypting existing messages.

AskWoody MVPRather than pause, you can use WuMgr for manual control of updates. Then you never have a pause end when you are not expecting it.

AskWoody MVPWeird article!
“kill switches” and “cellular radios” is used interchangeably.
The “kill switches” are either in the inverters or the batteries, depending on which sentence you read.
And apparently this allow for “physical destruction of the network”, even though there is no mention of explosive use.
Anonymous sources are quoted, no actual people.Score = clickbait

AskWoody MVPOr the 3rd option, do nothing because it already works – it’s only a USB disk and all the work is done in the disk housing, not in Windows.

AskWoody MVPMicrosoft does not tell new owners of computers to make good records of username-password and the BitLocker key. It needs to do so
As was suggested back in December 2023.

AskWoody MVPYou use of the term “old Android file” is problematic. We need to know the exact name of the files you can see.
KeePass (and KP2A) uses the extension KDBX for database files. I would expect your files to be called “Database.kdbx” or “keepass.kdbx”.
Can you open the Dropbox folder on your PC? How many “KDBX” files do you have?
When you run KeePass on your PC, what is the location of the database file shown on the unlock screen?
cheers, Paul

AskWoody MVPMay 18, 2025 at 12:34 am in reply to: Moving fwd, Win 11 Pro,, which is best? Lenovo refurb #2774786I don’t think a 256GB disk is big enough. My minimums are 16GB RAM, 500GB disk.
And having wifi is worthwhile. Gives you options if you move / replace the router. And BT for that new mouse…

AskWoody MVPIt seems you are using the Dropbox client to transfer the file to your phone and then opening it from there?
KP2A can open Dropbox files directly rather than transferring the file using the DB client. Have you tried that?
