    • Thanks – I was hoping someone in this fora could suggest ‘discussions’ where this type of thing is discussed. And to your point, possibly Salesforce, or ?.com, incorporates such mechanisms (and/or bought the competition) but it just seems that this (data collection->database) is so intrinsic to the whole enterprise (knowledge management) that there Should Be some (a lot of) folks working on this endeavor.

      thanks again

don’t know if this is an ‘additionally’, but, some folks may have (i believe) a “OneDrive for WIndows 10” or some such nomenclature. Maybe that’s what you refer to as “Personal version – under your windows account (5GB with additional paid-for space)”.

What’s so funny (not comical) is for us long-time windows users, to have to remind ourselves that there is no such thing as a canonical Windows installation. [maybe Windows 3.1 ?]

also endorse FreeFileSync (and pictures of animals as a ‘thankyou’, usually, when you’ve donated) which i HIGHLY recommend. (that is: a donation)

      thanks

i guess i thought CoPilot was more than it is: here from the ‘mouth’ of CoPilot:

Monica and CoPilot are both AI systems developed by OpenAI, but they serve different purposes:

    • ahh – i’ll check into the ‘local account’ – many thanks

    • thanks, and very very sorry, techtango, for throwing you off the scent – you wouldn’t have known this but i would have surrounded   usr / Documents / ApplicationDownloads   with quotes, but, of course,  ‘ usr ‘ is just a stand-in for my username, and i just wanted to make the path easy to read.

Mostly I was just surprised there was so much old junk in there (: ), and i didn’t want to take the time to look through it all — i was hoping, as is sometimes the case, that a user in the know would outright tell me, “go ahead and just ‘bin’ the whole thing” and then i would feel comfortable doing just that.

      thanks again
