    • in reply to: How to resolve synchronization problems in OneDrive #2565641

Something like this From MS —

Open OneDrive settings (select the OneDrive cloud icon in your notification area, and then select the OneDrive Help and Settings icon then Settings.)
      Go to the Account tab.
      Select Choose folders.

That said I have an inherent distrust of syncing by anything and usually find it confusing. In addition One Drive seems too aggressive in it’s initial choice of folders, so you definitely want to select folders which folders are syncing or simply turn it off. I prefer to manually post files to Dropbox. In researching syncing files, I found that there are inherent issues that make it problematic.

    • in reply to: Vivaldi as a Web browser #2479617

I was a Opera user for years, until it got gutted into an absurd joke.

Pasting the name Vivaldi on it and trying to put it back to it’s former glory has not taken the stain away in my mind.  Maybe someday . . .

    • in reply to: CSV to QIF for Quicken #2432985

I don’t use QFX, but that worked out for you I see.

But maybe somebody could help me with QIF.  I imported my scanned receipts from Epson ScanSmart. Their export to QIF doesn’t seem to work so well. So I saved to CSV, massaged it a bit in excel and used an online converter at csvconverter without incident although now I see it complains of certificate problem so I guess I can’t recommend it.  It worked ok after some fiddling, but I am looking for something a little better.

I was going to try at http://xl2qif.chez-alice.fr/xl2qif_en.php, that is an excel addin.  I would import the csv to excel and then export as a QIF.  Has anybody experience with that?

      TIA,

      Steve
