Would this clear the temporary folder every time the computer is turned off? The images from other sites stayed on the computer even though the computer had been turned off and on several times over many days.

Thank you, Stuart, and to all for the helpful suggestions. I’ll holler if I get another “eyeful.”

I have noticed that images are stored on my C drive, when I go to certain web sites, without my making any effort to save them; mostly they are the directional images: arrows, etc. That was the case, I have been assured, with the objectionable images I’m trying to locate and eradicate from the hard drive. I hope to stop this hoarding of images by my computer. How I don’t know…
I found these images when I was trying to print an image that was not recognized by software on my computer. Unfortunately, I do not recall the name of the program that popped up; it was one I do not normally use. That is the only reason I know of these objectionable images.

    • in reply to: Numbered Chart #1179982

Thanks to your help I was able to create the chart. Now, the Y axis is the headache. I can number it successfully, but I wonder if Excel 2003 has a way that I can put a zero in as a value, with ascending and descending numbers from that zero. For example:
      3
      2
      1
      0
      1
      2
      3
Word and Excel 2003 do not allow me to do this manually (rather, I have been unable to figure it out).
      Many thanks!

I am not sure how I would submit an image, but I can say the vertical lines are numbered to represent the days of the month, and the horizontal lines are for recording varying levels of _________ (whatever) from day to day.
Thank you for your help. I had no idea where to look in the manual.

Thank you, Jezza. You may have given me the “oomph” to start learning CSS.

Thank you, but I used to NOT have this problem with my web pages, and that is why I asked. The text would stay within the width of the monitor WITHOUT entering any breaks. I am unable to determine what I am doing differently. So, back to the drawing board…

Only thing indicated when I rebooted in Safe Mode was:
“Windows Defender: Application failed to initialize: 0x80070006. The handle is invalid.”
Would this cause problems with shutting down?

    • in reply to: labels (Word 2002 (XP)) #1004870

There does not appear to be a pattern, though the cells with four lines are usually involved. To my way of thinking, if the text fits in the table cells, it should fit in the labels. But then, who am I to question… bananas

    • in reply to: labels (Word 2002 (XP)) #1004827

This is the document. The printing is just outside the top of some labels of each page, so the number is cut off a bit and not legible. I tried to format the cells without much luck. I think Word senses I do not like it!
