      With the query open you can just copy all the data and paste it straight into Excel.

      The bank that I bank with changed there password system from a password to a setup that asks for just 3 of the letters in random order from the password. I.E 4th, 2nd and 7th letters. I have now gone from a 16 letter phrase that I could remember to a 7 letter password I have to write down to work out the letters they want!

      Think that I prefer the old setup!

      Using A97 and Excel2000 I have no problems copying tables from Excel to Access. It even asks if there is a header row and uses it for field names.

      Thanks Hans

      I can live with the grey, just thought I was missing something when I could not find how to change it. Word is not my favourite Office program!

      It would probably be best if you could post a small sample spreadsheet demonstrating the problem so that someone can work it over for you to see what is happening for you.

      Except for the odd fact that Microsoft have pulled all the snapshot viewers from their web site!!

      indezine has a tutorial on using Hypercam to capture a presentation as an AVI.
      I think that there are a number of sharware products that will convert AVI to MPEG but it is not something that I have ever done.

      would it be possible to print the reports to Snapshot and email them to the remote user for printing?

      Whilst it would not stop them doing it, conditional formating could be used to make it rather obvious when they have!

      July 8, 2003 at 3:43 pm in reply to: PrtDevMode Property to change printer for a form (2000) #692043

      If I was doing it I would just create a report rather than printing the form itself. Once the report is how I wanted it I would just copy it and set up one copy to print to the printer and the other to the Fax

      Use the Substitute() function

      =SUBSTITUTE(C12,”.”,””)
