No. But to make doubly sure exactly where should I look to determine this? I have tblDailys07_08; tblEmployee; and a lookup table for Code

      Mark,

Would you use the same steps in creating the frontend that was described by Hans to create the backend? I’m trying to read the Q&As on splitter to get a really quick lesson so that I can tackle a project that I have been tasked with.

I am back in business. Thanks!

I am in desperate need of a database to help me track employee trainings – what trainings an employee has had; when trainings are due, etc. Can you reference me to a sample that has been shared?

I announced earlier for everyone to exit the dbase until further notice. It is currently after hours when all those who would access the dbase is gone for the day. I tried to delete ithe icon w/ the padlock however get the message “Cannot delete. It is being used by another person or program. Close any programs that might be using the file and try again.” I will have contact ITS in a.m. Any chance of somehow losing the actual dbase? I can’t afford that.

March 19, 2008 at 3:38 am in reply to: Missing Lookup Codes (11.8166.8172 (2003)) #1102523

My computer and any applicable software is on a server. When this hotfix was downloaded it only fixed the problem at my computer. When another co-worker attempted to use the database she encountered the same problem (missing lookup table). I was told that the hotfix has to be applied to each individual computer of each person who may access this database.

Is there not a way to install hotfixes to every computer that has access MIcrosoft Access without going to each person’s computer who may access this database?

yes, there are 486 codes in tblCodes. When I went home and pulled up the copy from my home computer it worked perfectly. I copied it to bring to work this a.m. and the tblCodes again is empty. I renamed the database but I don’t think that should affect anything.

Thank you very much. Your response was how I had attempted however was not sure that it was correct. Again, Thanks!

Another issue. Attached is a snapshot of the last page of a report where I would like a summary of various codes for each of the month and a total. I tried count and DCount in various ways but have not come up w/ the right combination. Suggestions, please.
