Thanks. Unfortunately am not able to discover a pattern.

I use Dragon Naturally Speaking VRS and thought this might be a problem, so uninstalled it – the problem continued. Re-installed it, no change. Its not something too disagreeable, more annoying than anything else.

Would it fix the problem if I reformatted? I tried System Restore, but made no difference and PC Doctor failed to discover a problem.

The problem seems to happen in the middle of creating or editing a Word document. At first it was once in awhile – nowadays it is frequent enought to bug even me -particularly as it regularly fails to restore – as it used to . . .

Been a fan of Woody since I first took the leap from the 15th century into the computer agea few years back. This site has been very helpful – both in figuring out how to do this stuff and to address the little problems that seem to pop up – when I can’t find anything relevent – I ask. You that help REALLY do!
