      (Edited by Leif on 14-Jun-03 12:12. to reduce attachment size and mask email addresses.)

      I have been using Outlook 2002 for about two months without problems. My OS is W200PE, SP3.
      I regularly check my e-mails from work without downloading them, as my ISP has a “Get-Mail” feature which enables seeing what is still in the server. When I get home, I download everything.
      Two days ago my brother with sent me an e-mail with an attachment having an exe extension. At work I was able to save the attachment, and run it.
      When trying to download it at home, O2002 gave only the text, and a message “Outlook blocked access to the following potentially unsafe attachments: xxxx.exe”
      What makes this all more irritating, is that a week ago I upgraded to Norton Anti Virus 2003!!!
      Searched >>Tools>>Options>>Security, but saw nothing about Incoming Attachments.
      Lowering the Security settings in Internet Explorer >>>No Luck.
      Could you please help?

      Thanks in advance.

      Hi Andrew;

      Yes. this latest works OK.
      I swapped legends between cells A9 and A10.
      Yes, I use Excel a lot and this fits OK with my applications.
      I am already spreading this program here at the office, where more than one engineer might need it.
      Thanks again,

      Best regards.

      Hi Andrew;
      I commend your fantastic work.
      You’ve done a beautiful job, more than what I was even expecting.
      I tested your program for the two possible instances (with the value of one resistor known, or both unknown), and it work charms.
      Thanks A LOT , again.
      I am attaching your program here, so everybody can enjoy it.
      Cheers,

      Daniel Rozenberg.

      Thanks a lot.
      With your tip I immediately found the feature of sending the Word file to the fax.
      The rest was, as you said, self explanatory.
      Best regards,

      Daniel Rozenberg.

      I quite undersand you.
      I also have a similar problem with OE5. When I click send, the ISP connection is lost; however, i can receive messages.
      Also, the dial up doesn’t register my password and i have to retype every time. I’m told is a glitch of OE5, and have to live w/it.
