I have the problem, very temperamental, sometimes there sometimes not, but I have a theory, with mine it SEEMS to occur when in “Phone Link” e-mails are in the notifications panel, how many people have the problem and use “Phone Link”?

I had a similar experience with the last release, it turned out to be a password protected folder on my Desktop, I think from memory it was Wise Folder Hider.
What is happening is that there is something on your system that the install cannot access.
What model HP I run a HP pavilion G6

I started my apprenticeship in 1952, I still possess the first hammer I purchased, yes had a new handle once but believe it or not it STILL works. What is wrong with Microsoft (we all know). Please Microsoft make your operating System easier to use and control. My next computer will be a Mac. I am fed up with this insolence.

      Problem solved.

I connected via the USB cable only.

Downloaded and installed USB Driver IntelliType from

      http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/wireless-comfort-keyboard

Downloaded and installed USB driver IntelliPoint from

      http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/intellimouse

The mouse and keyboard were automatically detected correctly. And have many self explanatory options.

      Thanks to all

I have used Servant Salamander for longer than I care to remember, comes with a lot of plug-ins and is better than the old Norton’s Commander.
I have not used Explorer since Win 98

My two cents (two bobs) worth
      http://pixresizer.en.softonic.com/
The options are complete and absolutely so easy to use.
Even appends the file name of the resized image with reduction size & works in batch mode.

I used that site and downloaded the ImgBurn with the same apprehension as I guess you are experiencing, the result was good the Imburn prog is easy.
Just remembered there is a good tutorial here http://www.imgburn.com/
However be careful where you click there are many ads on the site.

No you are not wasting your time, the subject has been well discussed and debated on this forum, under the heading of converting LP’s, the difference is that (in general terms) to convert an LP you need a pre-amp prior to connection to your Line-In, with cassettes you simply connect the tape output to your Line-In jack. Then record using programs like Audacity http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
The earlier debate on this forum covered the software requirements freebies and expensive.
A quick search of this forum located one of the abovementioned threads

You girls have got me into trouble. I have today ordered a WACOM BAMBOO FUN PEN & TOUCH MEDIUM GRAPHICS TABLET CTH-661/S0, the bundled software makes the purchase worthwhile. Only kidding about the trouble at age 72 I can just remember (or dream).

      Thanks Keely,
Would you advise what is involved after the original installation to swap between the mouse and the tablet, is it simply a matter of removing the mouse (mine is wireless) or can the tablet and the mouse co-exist?

February 21, 2010 at 6:58 pm in reply to: Extract e-mails from *.pst files #1210525

I export the Contacts folder, which I use as the address book, I use comma delimator then import it into the new file.
This method brings in all phone numbers addresses etc.

Under the file menu there is an Export/Import command, I know this works in Outlook 2003. I rotate my e-mail files at the start of every year.

Your link on my system provides a broken link message.
I think it might be http://download-company.net/
Would you please confirm or edit
