      Al,

In the 64bit version of Windows 7 you have two Program Files directories. One for the 32bit applications (ProgramFiles(x86)) and one for the 64bit applications (Program Files).

In the On Open event of the form, put the following code:

      Code:
      If Me.Recordset.RecordCount = 0 Then
          MsgBox "There is no data"
          Cancel = True

I’ve tested your code and I have no problem. Can you post a stripped version of your DB where the error occur ?

December 4, 2009 at 10:23 am in reply to: conditional formatting to detect nulls #1188740

In the format property you can enter 4 formats separated by a semicolon. the fist is for the case the field is positive, the second if the field is negative, the third if the field is 0 and the forth if the field is NULL
      Something like $#,##[GREEN];($#,##)[RED];”Zero”;”Null”

Then I think you’ll have to use automation to open Outlook from within Access.

Have a look at Link Outlook contacts to an Access database – Help and How-to – Microsoft Office Online.
When finished the linking, you can use the linked contact table as any ordinary table.

I have no idea how it come that you don’t have code in the archive DB’s. It is totally impossible that when you delete code in one DB, it also disappear in another DB.
The only ways to remove all the code from a object (form or report) is
      1) in the VBE press CTRL+A end then Delete
      2) in design view set the property Has Module to No

      I’m out of idea here.

Just thinking. Are you sure you have imported the object from the old DB into the new DB, and not from the new one into the old one ?

Deleting the code in one DB will not affect another DB. Do you have a third copy of the DB or a Backup ?

In the Project Explorer window, have you double click on the object name ?
