      You can use custom functions in queries too.

      Can you provide more details of how to use this custom functions in my queries?

      Thanks

      Combo box? I didn’t see any combo box in your database…

      Sorry, Hans. I am confused. I thought I only can use this codes in the combo box. Can I put the codes on the query that I built? Or is the best way to put it in a new comob box?

      Thanks.

      You’ll find a custom VBA function to retrieve the week of the month in [post=”340905″]Post 340905[/post].

      Thanks, Hans.

      Which Combo Box event that I should input the codes below:

      Public Function GetWeekInterval(dtDate As Date) As String

      Dim intWeeks As Integer
      intWeeks = GetWeekDaysInMonth(dtDate)

      Select Case GetWeekOfMonth(dtDate)
      Case 1
      GetWeekInterval = “First”
      Case 2
      GetWeekInterval = “Second”
      Case 3
      GetWeekInterval = “Third”
      Case 4
      GetWeekInterval = IIf(intWeeks = 4, “Last”, “Fourth”)
      Case 5
      GetWeekInterval = IIf(intWeeks = 5, “Last”, “Fifth”)
      End Select

      End Function

      Thanks.

      Thanks, Hans.

      But I never use the Access interface, can you provide more detail of how to open and edit it? Do I open the table in view?

      Thanks again.

      So do I have to use update query and select all 35 fields to update it?

      Is there any better way to replace those value on all of 35 fields?

      Thanks,

      Hi,

      That’s requirement of another system import specs. I will export it to txt file.

      Yes, they all are in the same table.

      Thanks,

      Thanks, Hans.

      The age in years is working, but not age in days. What should I put in Age in days field in a query? If the age in years is great than 1, then the age in days field is blank. If the age in years is less than 1, then the age in days field will show the days between Bdate and DateToday.

      Thanks again.

      Thanks, Hans.

      But there’s no column name in my txt file. I don’t think there’s any duplicate fields name in the Import sepc since the Access will stop you if you have any duplicate fields.

      The contents of the text file should be valid since I can import it with default delimite.

      Any other ideas?

      Thanks,

      Hi Hans,

      How about if there’s some data in “OldField?” How can I add condition to this calculated field to convert those blank data to “00?”

      Thanks,
