      Stanka.
      The first thing I did was disable UAC .I have been running vista ult for 2 years this way and never had a problem.
      Take Big Als advice and play with win bubble and you won’t be with out it.It makes using vista so much better!!
      You may also need to change the way vista informs you about security.

      Is it ok to delete the files discarded by windows up data?

      Subject edited and picture shrunk by HansV

      Pci secunia keeps reporting these programs out of date/insecure.
      I have updated all of them but I still keep getting the same report when I run a scan.
      Any thoughts

    • in reply to: XP antivirus2009!! #1131276

      XPAntivirus is a particularly nasty piece of malware.
      Hans.
      It is that and more.
      I know about malwarebytes as I use it at home and work.{ we are only a small company so we don’t have the usual restrictions on our computers none at all really}
      I used malwarebytes to remove it from his computer I think I got it all only time will tell.I also did a manual search.
      But my main reason for posting was the method of infection. By just clicking on the link in the results page.Dose this indicate a fake web page??
