Ha, you and my brother, Berton . He says, “It’s a mystery to me why you stick with that ancient, outmoded Eudora. Qualcomm hasn’t supported it for years.”
“Because it works, that’s why, plus plenty of folks still use it and it is too still supported.”

My wife is no help. She uses outlook at her work. She has zero patience with all things technical. “Use Outlook. What’s the problem?” Yeah, that’s helpful.

The problem is that I *like* Eudora, OK? I have been using it for 25+ years and it has always worked perfectly. Until now. And Firefox had another (***did it just now***) major upgrade yesterday. *sigh* I am going to take this whole issue to Eudora support. I haven’t had time because I’ve been putting out everyone’s fire but mine.

The problem is one I haven’t heard of before (I’m using 7.1.0.9 paid with Win 7, as well as the constantly updated Firefox). I have been using Eudora almost since it was released, but only last year discovered there’s a mailing list for Eudora which has a couple of incredible Eudora experts on it, and lots of people who are unabashed Eudora users! To subscribe, send an email to: join-eudora-win@hades.listmoms.net and be sure the word Gazelle is in the subject line (seriously – without it your email goes into a black hole).

I’m also a long time Eudora user – 7.1.0.9 paid, going back to version 3.0. While there are some things that are in need of repair and updating, I have no motivation to start using another email program. Like the aptly named Penelope, I wait….
