and to make it less hard to mend when someone breaks it, I’ve replaced the mystery $$$$$ with named ranges – just need to put new members ‘in the middle’ rather than at the end!

Yet another way is on the attached. Developed from a thing I had to do for real only yesterday, probelm was to get xl to interpret numbers entered like 0928 or 1537 as times. Much easier to enter them this way!

Still on Toolbars, but tangentially, is there a way of eg removing 3 from the workspace and revealing 2 different ones other than doing each of them one at a time?
