AskWoody LoungerAs Hans said.
I think you can only use Wipe, Fade, Wheel and Appear. Wipe works well for bar charts and Wheel definitely doesn’t

AskWoody LoungerGlad its solved. You might want to also read “make sure videos play” http://www.pptalchemy.co.uk/mediaenc1.html%5B/url%5D

AskWoody LoungerProbably you have linked music files and didnt include them or the links broke. There’s a tutorial in the sounds section here http://www.pptalchemy.co.uk/powerpoint_hin…_tutorials.html%5B/url%5D

AskWoody LoungerI wouldn’t set “line spacing” <1
To adjust the space between paragraphs use before paragraph but note that this adds to line space settings
eg for double spacing between paragraphs set before para to 1 and line spacing to 1
Unless you are sure you need it leave after paragraph alone! -

AskWoody LoungerSadly its “normal”
QUOTE
“Well, much to every web designer’s chagrin, not to mention the poor web surfers who will have to click on everything in a site to make it work, Microsoft has updated their IE browser to include an extremely annoying pop-up for every Flash item and every ActiveX control (such as music players) asking the user to “click here to activate this control.” The user then has to click it once to activate it and then a second time to get it to do the action (i.e. go to a page if it is a link). Music controls are worse as they pop up actual warning boxes asking “click to run ActiveX control on this webpage” FOR EVERY INSTANCE of a music player. It also puts a border around all flash objects. If a designer has a Flash piece “weaved” into a design, this new border shows the surfer exactly where the flash borders are – it’s not a very nice feature for designers. Yikes, this is a BUMMER.
This nightmare is apparently due to some lawsuit Microsoft is involved in (so I’ve read on the net). There are “fixes” posted on the net that entail adding javascript work-arounds to EVERY web page in a site. I am still looking into the effectiveness of these “fixes.””

AskWoody LoungerHave you thought of putting the text in the video?

WSJohnWilson
AskWoody LoungerTo test for text in a textframe
First test for the textframe with .hastextframe and then test “.textframe.hastext”. You must do both as the second test will crash if the shape doesn’t have a textframe.
If you need to change the spellcheck language you can contact me via PowerPoint Alchemy we have an addin that will do this (free trial) Not tested in 2007

AskWoody LoungerI’ve done that – I didn’t expect you first “http ://” to be auto added, I’m just to used to typing the full address!

AskWoody LoungerNo you can’t just change the extension to .wav. Cdex add a tiny header (only a few bytes) that basically says “This is a wav file, really it is!” as well as changing mp3 to wav. Hope you enjoyed our site and signed up for the newsletter!!!

AskWoody LoungerBest way to merge and split cells exactly how you want them is to use the eraser and pencil tools in the table toolbar to add and delete lines.

AskWoody Lounger(Edited by HansV to make URL clickable – see Help 19)
You might want to look at embedding wav files AND embedding mp3 files in the sounds section here
