That’s what I figured… Perhaps a plugin exists to manage it. If I find a solution, I’ll post back here.

      Thanks!

How do you know this stuff?

    • in reply to: Macro a Signature? (2005) #1019324

The challenge I’m having is that the signature contains an image file, which also has to be migrated into the signatures folder. Additionally, the signature is structured in two columns in HTML, and has distinct looks in its rtf and txt versions.

Also, i’m not sure what controls are used in outlook vba to define the properties of a signature. Does this help?

      Thanks!

Alright, so Clicking on ‘View’, then ‘Header and Footer’ as if to edit them seems to kick it back into submission.

      Thanks! bow

      Perfect, Thanks!

I may be WAY off, but I seem to remember options for how this was supposed to have been handled in Previous versions of office. I guess they just improved it out of the new version… wink The ‘Mail Recipient’ option has been duely removed.

      Thanks again, I appreciate it!

      Thanks Dave,

Do you know if there’s a way to change the default handling of the standard ‘Send To…’ ‘Mail Recipient’ option?

I don’t have time to fix that promptly, but I’m pretty sure that you get the basic idea… laugh

    • in reply to: Free Excel 2003 Quick Reference Guide (2003) #950500

      Greetings Loungers,

Recent events have prompted me to put together a quick reference guide to assist others in using Excel 2003. I have had the opportunity to put it to use on many occasions, and have found and heard that it is very useful.

So, in the spirit of sharing knowledge, and offering others something that’ll make life just a little easier, I offer it to the lounge at large. Please do not hesitate to distribute it freely. I hope that you and yours will find it as helpful as others already have.

You may download the guide here.

      Warmest Regards,

Well, we can be selective of our content, so if it’s not a valid price, we’ll just exclude it from the load. Thanks MILLIONS for all your help, this should work beautifully! thankyou bravo

Since it’s OCR, it’s also possible that the price contains any number of extraneous characters, I would like for this whole string to be separated, whether it’s formatted properly or not…. Thanks again!

Ahh, macro security was preventing it from running, however there is another obstacle or two, and I can’t seem to figure this one out…

In some cases, the price does not have a $ sign. there are far too many of these to manually enter them, so I’m hoping your code can work around this.. Also, in some cases, the junk field will start with a ,=,+,-.. or other math derivative, seriously confusing excel.. any ideas here?

Thanks again for all your help on this!
