I apologize, I had not noticed the conversion of % 4 0 to @ when I previewed. My bad, it has been a rough month.
so I am looking for a way to make “slaes@internet.com” into “slaes% 4 0 internet % 2 ecom” without the spaces.
This is to be hidden in the HTML so webbots and spiders cannot harvest the email addresses. On the web page the user will only see the form and the “submit” form.
A page of the web site that this is on is located at http://www.diversifiedplastics.com/gecet.htm%5B/url%5D

As for multifunction machines I have had great luck with the HP 7110 and 6110. Stay away from the Brother brand, Every one I have had contact with (over a dozen) have had the print heads fail every 14 to 16 months and they were all different models.

If you want a book, “This Wired Home” written by Alan N. from Microsoft Press is great. I teach SOHO Networking and of the many books I have reviewed this is the best, I use it for our class text book.

Be sure the RAM is compatible (as in the model number not the DDR type) with the specific motherboard. I cannot tell you the number of times I have had squirrley problems with swapped RAM, even name brand RAM (Crucial, Kingston et al) in the “wrong type” motherboard.

All of the below are without the quotes.
Type in “ipconfig” and see what happens
Next type in “ping 127.0.0.1” what do you get?
Next type in “ping” followed by the ip address from the ipconfig. Information earlier.
      Let us know.

I’ll take a look at Radio Shack for such a device. It sounds like a good idea at the least.

I did not place a DVD in the computer and try to play it. The DVD connected to the TV works fine as does the VCR.
