You can see it in the play-list of your media-player.(Library).
Often, you can just change the song or artist,by right-clicking on the MP3.
But sometimes the song`s info is inside the MP3 and you can`t change that by right-clicking.
And then there are some that have just plain garbage in them, like a website(beam to http.http://www.etc.).
I,just want that out,but because it`s inside the file, you must have a program that breaks open the MP3
and allows you to change all that crap.
Hope that clears it up for you.

      Thanks,for that reminder.
I,just took a quick look at it and it “sounds”interesting.
Needs some concentrated reading though, but that never hurt anybody.

      Yes that`s exactly what I,mean.
      I,think I`ll,try “Tag & Rename 2.0.5”,it`s only 1290k.
Small program that hopefully does what the name says.
      Thanks again Mark.

I,checked it out and your right the prices are reasonable.
      But I,don`t buy anything on-line.
So,I,have to go to a local shop and see their prices.
      But thanks for your reaction.

Oke,Al here`s another one to summarize.
MacAfee came with my pc when I,first bought it.
And from day one I,have had shutdown problems(Yes I`m running WinMe).
But ever since I,removed MacAfee(Wich,in my opinion went very easy).
And Installed Norton AV the shutdown problem has dissapeared.
Also, you know when you run Ad-Aware it gives you the number of running processes.
With MacAfee on I,had 24/26 running processes, but now with Norton,I have between 18/20.
But fair is fair I,never have had a virus with MacAfee and it always detected virusses.
I,did have dat-update problems with MacAfee(Sometimes for weeks).
And now Norton works perfectly,it auto-updates 2/3 times a week.

I,understand what you are saying and I`m sure there are pc-mice for that price you say.
But I,want my rodent`s tail cut off and a scroll function.
And,if I`m gonna buy an exta I,want it to be of a brand name not some generic.
Because,if the mouse itself is the problem,I,can`t go back to one with a tail etc.
So,your other sugestion is an option,(borrow someone elses mouse and see what happens).
If that one works then buy another with all the features I,mentioned.
But I,don`t think they come for that price you say.

This is ofcourse kicking in an open door.
But as you well know, everything on the internet is free or can be obtained without paying for it.
And,I`m not just talking about V-Scanners but all software that is available.
      It`s all up for grabs.

Note to Moderators:I,know that Warez just is not done on this board.
That`s the reason I`m not talking about any particulair kind of software, just in general.
Nore,am I giving explanations on how to obtain it.
But we don`t have to be hypochrits either and deny the simple fact that this is a possibility.
Because the simple fact is that 99% of the visitors that lounge here, have got some sort of pirated software on their machine.
I,don`t want to make any problems for this board,so if you think this post will be compromising, just delete it.

I,m just surprised no one has mentioned, the prices they dare ask for their little piece of software.
And I`m talking about both MacAfee and Norton here.

      No,you missunderstand.
I,said I,would buy another mouse “IF” that was the problem.
      But it isn`t.
The problem I,think is with some corrupted windows-file or driver.

      Have a good one:

The settings for my mouse are correct(Doubleclick an item)
I,have a dog,but he`s not the least bit interrested in my machine,so he stays away from it.
I,clean my machine every day (screen, mouse outer-cast,keyboard etc.).
With the Dutch equivalent of what you call “Windex”.
But no I,don`t know of anyone having the same machine as I,do.
So I,don`t think the mouse itself is the problem.
Wish it was, then I,bought another one today,Problem solved!
      No,I,think it`s some faulty software/driver or something.
      Anyway,thanks for your reply.

      Have a good one,KenK.

I,wouldn`t know where to begin performing a in-place install(don`t know what it is or how to do it).
I`ve got only the necessary applications running at start up:
      1.ScanRegestry.
      2.TaskMonitor.
      3.PCHealth.
      4.SystemTray.
      5.LoadPowerProfile 2x.
      6.Hidserv.
      7.DXM6Patch_981116.
      8.Smapp.
      9.NAVAgent.
      10.SchedulingAgent.
      11.StateMgr.
      12.StillImageMonitor.
      13.SSDSRV.
      14.ScriptBlocking.
Dissabling Norton would`nt be wise for two reasons first of all virus-wise.
And before I,got Norton on I`ve always had shut-down problems, but when I,put Norton on that problem dissapeared.
But to answer your other quistions no I,have not tweaked any mouse setting recent.
Several months ago I,did disable the sound-click(Because whenever I,clicked something I,heard 6/7clicks over the speakers).
This problem did dissapear when I,rebooted.
So I,guess there`s always been a problem of repetition,I,just didn`t hear it anymore and now finaly it breaks free.
And something may be really messed up with my mouse.
Further,I`ve been to Logitech`s site looked for my model but it was not in the list.
(I,say list, but they had a bunch of pictures of mice you could click, but my model wasn`t in it)
This would then bring you to the correct software download page.
There was a picture of a mouse that was the same model only with a cord,so I,don`t think this was the right software/driver for mine.
So,this is all the info I,got.
      Maybe of some help.

      Greetz.

And judging from your photograph,You ate way to many of them!!!

    • in reply to: Trigger Happy. #603476

Removed the mouse from my machine and rebooted.
Window detected the mouse again and re-installed the software for it.
I`ve been checking all aplications today and the problem is`nt that frequent anymore.
      But it is`nt gone either.
Especially when using Nero.(When selecting a bunch of files while holding down the shift key)
The receiver of my wireless doesn`t have a switch to select a different frequency.
So the problem isn`t really gone but as I,said it doesn`t happen that often anymore.
Maybe someone has yet another idea?
In the main time thank you both for the quick responces and explanations.

      Greetz.

    • in reply to: Trigger Happy. #603284

I`m gonna try it the way you explained it(print the page first)
Can`t I,use the up and down/left and right keys?
Guess I,ll find that out for myself.
Cannot think of anything specific that has changed in my environment.
So,I`m gonna try that and hope it`s the solution for this irritating problem.

      Thanks so far.

    • in reply to: Trigger Happy. #603260

      Quistion first,before I,do that.
How am I,gonna reboot my pc(because when I,tried to remove the mouse,it said” warning this device will be removed”)
Here`s some more info,it`s a Compaq Logitech Wireless mouse(No it`s not the batteries,I,tried that already)
And the receiver is connected to a PS2 port.
      Maybe of some help.

      Greetz.
