Well, that’s precisely what I tried and it gave me an error message. If I am in Table Design mode, where am I to put that expression? Perhaps that’s where I erred.

      Hi MerC,

Actually, I have tried that and it doesn’t seem to have any effect. I’ve even removed ZoneAlarm to see if that would help. Notta. Of course, it USED to work fine with both running. The only thing I can think of is the installation of either the Win2K SP2 or Office 2000 and its SP2. Of course, there are many, many other programs I’ve installed here and there to try and any one of them could have damaged something, but I need to find out what it was that got ‘broken’. I also have another PC beside this one that now has Win2000Pro and it works fine with FTP. I am going to install SP2 and see if still works.

    • in reply to: How to insert date automatically in chart title? #1777594

      Hey Mike,

I just tried an additional test. Instead of using two title boxes to contain the information you want, you can also reference a range of cells for the title data. I tried inserting some text in one cell (i.e. “Today’s date is:”) and the formula =TODAY() in the next cell to it. I then selected both cells for my Chart Title in the formula bar and it properly displayed both together. Just a thought.
