AskWoody LoungerFish,
It’s “Windows Setup” in 98SE; & it’s in there, installed (under “Multimedia”.)

AskWoody LoungerFish,
Yes, that’s it. The .exe is in the correct location (AccesoriesEntertainment), but will not open.

AskWoody LoungerOn my PC at work (which is still running Windows 95; & which is also prior to the advent of Windows Media Player), the CD Audio Player seems have taken over my CD ROM Drive (D.) If I place a “non audio” CD in the drive that does not have any type of autorun trigger (such as backups & copies), the CD Player Transport pops up; & essentially tells me I have inserted an audio CD. If I go to Explorer, that drive has the Audio CD Icon displayed. How can I get rid of this bugaboo, or at least get the system back to where it was, which was the correct CD data displayed for that drive in Explorer whenever a CD was inserted. Thanks.

AskWoody LoungerBig Al,
That’s me, brother. Thanks for the compliment. The artist’s on the site have a compilation CD being released (hopefully by Christmas.) I had originally planned on producing a CD for each artist, including myself, but through the democratic process, it was determined that the compilation project would replace the solo artist project, for now (which was everyones nice way of saying: I’m just too slow!) Anyway, if you’re interested, I’ll let you know when it’s released (& in the meantime, watch for more uploaded material.) Thanks again.

AskWoody LoungerDave,
Funny you should mention that. The “Nero” CD Burning software that came with the TDK does not provide two essential options: 1) to test prior to burning; & 2) closing the session. The reason they give is that the Burner is a Hi-Speed 48x, for use with USB 2.0. I have it installed utilizing USB 1.1 on a machine running Win98SE; & it will only burn at 4x. Guess it’s time to move to Roxio? Thanks.

AskWoody LoungerDoc,
I should have known. It is a newer, CD-RW type Drive (TDK VeloCD); & my machine at work was mfg’d in ’95. Thanks.

AskWoody LoungerThanks again. Was a little hairy untill I went to ShowHide. Actually, I had entered more data in the source doc, so I re-copied all the text (from that doc), pasted it into Word, added my Column Breaks & started over. Didn’t get the “select & drop” thing from Item 6, so I cut & pasted. Everything worked out fine; & the new Table is integrated correctly. Thanks again.

BTW – Thanks also to DaveA

AskWoody LoungerGuys,
I found out…you can key the columns to work independently by inserting a break > column break. Then you can move into each column by clicking inside the column, or by using the directional arrows on the keyboard.

AskWoody LoungerThanks Doc,
Once you mentioned running multple GINA 24’s, I remembered info that from the manual. Scaleable, indeed. That’s why the 2nd console had a different title. I think I’m going to wait to hear back from Echo Audio tech support on Monday for the program folders shortcut. Thanks again.

AskWoody LoungerEileen,
That is a great tip! Are the newsgroups the same (as the official?)
