      Karen,
I would like the number to be incremented each time the document is printed. I now going to ask for the impossible – can it be done without macros, using one of Word’s field or autotext ?

Thanks for the help! Your guesses are right about it being created by someone else but I think I mistakenly dragged in onto my calendar from a resource calendar.
I’ll give them permission to edit my calendar and see if this removes it.
      Thanks again

    • in reply to: Conditional formatting & VBA (Excel 2000 SR1/ Win 95) #537904

      Andrew,
It’s not the workaround that bothers me but the fact that on some PCs I have successfully recorded a VBA macro to cut and paste the range with the conditional formatting but on others it causes Excel to hang. Both are running Excel 2000 (Version 9.0.3821) SR-1. I am concerned about the implications for sharing VBA code.

I have tried this technique but all I get is a message box saying that the server does not appear to have FP Extensions installed. Can you offer any help as to how I delete my old webs from the server, particularly all the theme-related folders and files ?

      Thanks in advance.

      Don,
This may not help directly but I have found that viewing OWA in Netscape 4.6 gives me much more functionality than when using IE5.5. Strange but true.
You could also try setting up a Team Calendar which allows you to view multiple calendars. This can be found at http://msdn.microsoft.com/code/sample.asp?…ompositedoc.xml. I found details on how to use it from TechRepublic.com

Apologies if this is a distraction.

    • in reply to: Adding Navigation Menu #528778

      Timbo,
How about using hyperlinks (from images, text, whatever you want the buttons to be) to the different parts of the workbook. To follow the webpage theme further you could put back buttons to return to the navigation or include the navigation buttons on each sheet.

You could also try formatting the chosen cells to use Marlett font. The ‘A’ key on the keyboard will then give you a tick.

      Lorne,
Plot the data as two series, adding a trendline only to the series that is required.

    • in reply to: word html in FP2000 #528427

      Roberta,
If you want to remove the extraneous code from the html produced by word you could try the HTML filter that Microsoft provide.
Check the following Knowledge Base Article:

      Hope this helps.

Why not use the screen capture facility in Paint Shop Pro or similar ?

    • in reply to: Printing multiple copies #517730

      Andrew,
Thaks for the reply. Let me see if I can explain any better. The document is 7 pages long and I want to print 10 copies, double-sided. This means that each document should occupy 4 sheets of paper and end in a blank side. However, the first page of the next copy is being printed on the back of the last page of the previous copy.
By the way, the collate option is selected when this is happening.

      Any more thoughts ?

      Hans,
Thank you for a wonderful explanation!! I knew there was more to it that just 3 columns of data.
Thanks again. What a wonderful place the Lounge is!!

You may also want to add a TD entry to your style sheet. NS requires formatting to be applied to each cell of a table individually which appears to be causing your problem.
