the hourglass should be [ time ] and part of the script. in the script it does not have spaces inside the brackets (but when I tried to show this I got the Hourglass)

Thanks for the Help, I have now found out the add-in that seems to have been causing the problem.

The only change to proceed this problem was to the network server we use, which was to set some rules for outlook. Nothing connected with word.

It does not happen on any particular document, it happens with every document. Infact I can have no documents open, and still when I close word, I will still get the error message.
