I have the French interface so this is just a good guess. Years ago I had a similar problem, nonetheless check with the developer, have the developer open the pivot table, then go to the options tab, and under pivot table options there is a data options tab and make sure the third box is checked. In 2010, it should say something close to «refresh the data on opening” and then save, then try and open it. I do not have the English interface to quote the correct label. I hope this helps. If you made your pivot table using a pivot table form you can export the pivot table format into excel, and from there use the many pivot table formats.
When I make a pivot table form I also create a macro to open the pivot table form in a pivot table format, run the macro from my switchboard.

    • I tried this but could find the 11 library, I guess that this is a problem with my permssions And I could not uncheck the 14 library.

    • If you have both version installed on the machine, you should be able to point your 2003 database back to the correct library. If you open the code window, look in the Tools menu for References…

Open this dialog box and check the item listed. the checked items are the ones associated with the database you have open. If you see the 14 library, uncheck it then look down the list for the 11 library. Check that item.

      Hope this helps.

    • in reply to: Upgrading to 2010 #1274975

Overall I am disappointed; I find it 10 times slower when connecting to a large sql server. I used the properties to organise my queries, this function has been lost.

    • in reply to: Need training for Office 2010 #1269901

I would like to thank you all for your answers, I known that microsoft training are just wonderful, but I am also faced with two prevailing attitudes in the office; any change will be is most likely to be troublesome, and our IT department’s attitude which is whatever you try to do do as little as possible. We have often trailed in last place for adopting new software. I guess we need some sort of group consulling.
