sorry – me again, Leif. I’ve followed your instructions and am almost there. However, when clicking on “Submit” on the order form on the website, I keep getting an error page. I have checked everything you mentioned, ensuring that my email details are there, but the form won’t send to my email address. Any ideas, please?

Could the “blank ” setting in “Target settings” have anything to do with it? Should this blank be changed to my email address, perhaps?

One other minor thing: on the order form when it comes up on the website, there is a sentence saying “[FrontPage Save Results Component]” – this does not appear on the order form in FP. Any idea how to get rid of this, please?

      Leif

Thanks for the interest, but I’ve fixed the problem. I was changing a duplicate page, rather than the index.htm. When I realised that and unticked “blink” amongst the font options on the index page, rather than the duplicate, the problem was resolved. Have since deleted the duplicate to avoid further confusion (dunno how I managed to create it in the first place!)

Fantastic, Leif – really appreciate the time and effort you’ve put into your reply and advice. Thank you! Looking forward to trying your suggestion. Think it sounds just what I was after.

      Cheers!

Hello again, Leif. Thanks for your comment. Would you mind pointing me in the direction within FP where I can arrange to have a new window as you describe, for the order form, pls?

Fair enough, Dave. What about a guestbook, where people can leave their comments to be seen by others? Does FP have a guestbook creating capacity, and is it any good please?

      Dave,

My site tells the history of Perth’s first punk bands and offers CDs of recorded material from the late 70s – the BB would be for interested parties to discuss the relative merits of the bands, for members of the bands who may happen on the site to offer their comments and maybe get back in contact with people from the 70s, etc.

    • Thanks bigaldoc. Don’t suppose you can point me towards a good link that describes clearly, step by step, the reformatting process in my situation?

Thanks, Leif – I didn’t realise that. Graphics are obviously the way to go here.

      Hi Jefferson

Yes, your advice did help, thank you. The reason I posted again was that I thought I may have over-complicated my query in the way I expressed it before, and I have received advice in the meantime that things can be set up automatically using Message Rules. The source of this advice clammed up when I asked for details, and I can’t work out from looking through Message Rules how I can set things up any better, so thought it worth another try on The Lounge. On review, think it likely that your advice is as good as it gets.

      Cheers
