Thanks Gary. I’ll give it a try. Always enjoy your posts.

I do have one follow up; the formula should read fix([finish]-[start])+1 so that the correct amount of calendar days are shown. Else, for instance, with the previous formula, if you have a task with a 1 day duration, your calculated field will show zero.

      Thanks again. Gary.

I used your formula, but I modified it so that I wouldn’t get those decimal places. I added fix([finish]-[start]) and that seemed to give me what I needed. I really appreciated your help. Take Care.

Thanks. I knew it would be tough, but I have to try.

    • in reply to: Custom Number Formats (Excel 2000) #582784

      Thanks, Andrew.

But I didn’t make myself clear. I need to enter a format that is more generalized. For instance,

      Text Character-6 Text Characters/1 number character-2number characters-Text Characters

I used the g-abcdef1-22-a as an example. The next tag could read h-afgtyu3-45-c. It’s not the actual characters, but rather a general format with the placeholders that I need since the tag function like identifiers and will change each time.

      Any other suggestions?

Thanks for the code. It works beautifully. I’m now trying to figure out how to move that sheet behind the previous active sheet. For instance, when I ran the code, it placed April in front of March. Is there any kind of Offset property in regards to moving sheets or will I always have to refer to an index number?

Again, thanks for your help. I had been searching how to do something like that for a long time.

Thanks, Rupert. I’m having to take the weekend to work this out, but your suggestions will make sure that I’ll be done by noon Saturday–instead of 12:00 AM Sunday.

      Again, thanks!

I believe what you can do is open the original presentation in PowerPoint, and go to the slide that has the sound object. Go to your Slide Show Menu, and choose custom animation. Check the Media or sound object and click on your Multimedia Settings tab. Choose “Continue Slide Show”and “Stop Playing” after the last slide of your presentation.

Also, you might want to make sure that on the More Options command button that “Loop until stopped is selected.”

      Hope that helps.
