You have not stated what the name of the program is. Perhaps knowing that could help us better respond to your issue. HTH

Windows 7 automatically names any existing SystemDrive to D: – although that is no widely publicised. That means, before your installing the dual boot, your data drive should have been ernamed to some other letter than D:.

When you say you are not dual booting, have you completely removed the Win7 install from your system?

Put your cursor anywhere in the row, press & hold Shift down. Then drag the row (up or down) so it ends in the new location. HTH

If you mean this “freshdevices” site, I am almost instantly cautious as it offers free driver tuneups & pc tuneups. While this site may be completely innocent, such offers on other sites are known to be methods of installing malware on unsuspecting machines. In short: personally I would be disinclined to test such software – even though it may be a harmless image viewer.

Come back in 2 hours – stop the recording. Trim the start and end and export as mp3 (you’ll need to download the lame mp3 encoder for this),

Exporting as WAV is also possible with Audacity.

Have you tried switching the code so it refers to the Worksheet numbers within the Workbook instead of the Worksheet names?

Try setting up a folder just the way you want it, and then going to Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View -> Apply This View.

      Perhaps the message is misleading.

What Excel version are you using?

      Welcome to the Lounge!

You might try looking at moving the relevant folders somewhere other than their default locations. (RightClick on the folder, choose Location and then Browse.) Having briefly run a dual boot in Win7, I found that the folders that had been moved using this method were not subject to the same “Access Denied” messages. HTH

    • in reply to: What are the references to vb.net? #1206870

Setting up .NET with VBA adds an extra layer of overhead that may not necessarily improve the overall responsiveness of other areas of your code.

What we are trying to say is that efficient functionality for Sorting & Resorting DataLists already exists in VBA. What is it about the .NET functionality that makes DataList.Sort() & DataList.Reverse() that much more attractive than VBA?

    • in reply to: Task Scheduler unable to create file #1206844

I have created a task (using Image for Windows) to run a disk image to a network PC. When I try to “run on demand”, the task starts and then ends within 10 seconds. When I go to event view I get an error “Task Scheduler was unable to create file”.
I have two other tasks (also using Image for Windows) that also use the network PC and they work every time…….

How is the “failing” task different from the others? How big is the disk image – more than 4Gb?

      Hi Reboot
What I have been doing is using “Clickteam Install Creator” a tool to create software installations……

It’s beginning to sound as if this is a problem with Clickteam Install Creator. Do you really feel that the Spreadsheets Forum is the right place for this thread?

PS: does anybody know why it is saying “You can make 48 more posts until 2010-01-26 20:26” above my messages, am I being expelled after that?

See this thread – including this reply. (Hope you don’t mind the copying our your text.)
