I *think* there is an issue with the formatting of the date. Your msgbox reads mm/dd/yyyy, but regardless of if I try it that way or dd/mm/yyyy, I get the same results. All sheets filters return null, yet all is copied to the consolidated sheet.

Hi Steve, please see my edit. I think we were typing in tandem.

      Hi Steve,

I don’t seem to be able to get the correct result from your code using the OP’s workbook. There seems to be an issue with the line:

      wks.Range(“A1”).AutoFilter Field:=1, Criteria1:=vDate

which appears to not bring back the correct vDate.

Am I doing something wrong? I’ve fiddled with it without success.

      ADDED LATER:

In the attached, I have commented out the “Reset Autofilter” section. If you run the macro, and enter the date as 14/01/2010, I get all of the data for 14/01/2010 and 15/01/2010 returned to the Consolidated sheet, but if you look at the individual people’s sheets, all of the filters return null. ??

      ThisWorkbook.SendMail “RAJ7”, Range(“A1”).Value[/font][/b]

I am wondering whether, if I used an address that was in the form “RAJ7@company.com” instead of just the first part, it would bypass Outlook’s warning.

      Hi Ann,

Yes, you will need to use:

      ThisWorkbook.SendMail “RAJ7@company.com”, Range(“A1”).Value

****You can also replace Range(“A1”).Value with “My subject”, if you so wish.

You will still see the following Outlook security dialogue:

AFAIK, you cannot bypass this within Office itself, however I beleive that there are external utilities that can bypass the dialogue for you, “CLICKYES” being one of them > http://www.contextmagic.com/express-clickyes/

I have no experience with this myself, as my need has always been in a work environment where such utilities are not allowed.

      Regards
      Nathan

I’m sending it and some more to the Red Cross to do what little it can do in Haiti.

He might very well be ill as well.

I think that most of us here are confident that Hans is very much alive and well. Hans has decided take a break away from the lounge for a while, and it is only fair that we respect that decision, whatever his reasons. Hopefully as time passes, he might pop by and say Hello as he knows that he has many many friends here!

      Thanks Hey Jude.

I have copied your settings exactly, restarted, and still no joy.

Never mind, thanks for trying. I’ll keep plugging away.

      Thanks both.

Have you looked in IE security settings in Internet options? There a couple of activex-related thingies in there…

Yes, I am trying to balance the correct level of security with my desire for hassle-free browsing, which is not easy!

      Hey Jude,….. IE8 on Vista

Clicking Open just provides a blank screen.

I beleive that this is a problem with Adobe Flash Player or ShockPlayer, both of which I now have installed.

I would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks

      Navigate to:

      Tools | Options | Color (tab) | Modify (button) | Custom (tab)……

You can input your numbers and keep adjusting them until you find what suit’s.

Be careful not to unintentionally over-save your color palette in testing….

      Regards

JavaScript enabled and Adobe Flash Player?

Thanks Argus. I do have JS enabled, but had problems with AFP.

      Vista using IE8.

I d/l AFP 10 today (twice) but still no joy. I proceeded to troubleshoot the problem from here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html

Started with #4 (being a possible Vista issue) – no success.

      Then #2.

After restart, I can now view the swf. file in this thread, but I still cannot view ‘Hey Jude’s pizza file.

And…. I keep getting this prompt everywhere I vavigate in IE (including the lounge)

AFP still does not appear under START | ALL PROGRAMS ???

I assume that the problem lies in my IE / Flash settings, but am getting nowhere fast. Help.

Mod note: This relates to the file in this thread, but please move as you see appropriate. Thanks.

Along the same lines as the Gullibility Virus Warning is this favorite of mine in a Flash Presentation. A bit dated, but it still works well for me!
