Patch reliability is unclear. Unless you have an immediate, pressing need to install a specific patch, don't do it. |
My HP Pavillion running XP SP3 just died. Yesterday it was working fine. Logged off and turned it off for the night.
This morning, no boot. At power on, the fans run for a few seconds and then nothing. I pulled the boot drive
and checked it out and it comes up fine. Just won’t boot in it’s home machine. Any suggestions?
I’ve got some legacy software that really needs XP
