According to StatCounter, the most widely used browser during 2014 was Google Chrome, which promises speed, simplicity and security for its users.
You can do a lot more with Chrome than just visit your favorite websites though. This article takes a look at some of its clever functionality.

I like the idea of pinning the WS tab instead of going to the bottom of my bookmarks all the time.

Don't take yourself so seriously, no one else does 🙂

Hi Paul, I’ve never used FF, I always used IE in the past but started using Chrome about 3 years ago and never looked back.

I left IE for FF a bit longer ago than that. 🙂

      it may promise speed
but it is slower than a snail through molasses
      on my pc anyway

what a bloated hog of useless scripts
that keeps running out of memory instead of just paging the content
because it tries to load everything first and the scripts never end because it is out of memory = buggy bogus design !!

and it appears to spend more time phoning home with my personal info than being useful

did i get a virus infected copy ?
is there some way to make it work like firefox used to ?

i would use firefox if i could get it to run
but the update killed off the old version
and the new version cant be removed

and yes i have run mbam and other programs to check for scumware
      but that has not helped

      speedball:
So far I haven’t run into any slowdowns with Chrome. It’s a heck of a lot faster than IE. I run it on 2-win 7 64 bit and 1- win 7 32 bit ( that used to be an old XP machine ).
Not sure why yours runs so slow, do you have a lot of add-ons? Here’s what I have.
