Is there a way to manipulate the individual options for grammar / style checking through VBA in 2007 or 2010? I’ve looked at the object models with no luck, and recording the UI changing them results in an empty macro.

The ones I’m talking about are for checking the number of spaces between sentences and so on.

    Thanks,

    Jessica

      Jessica,

      Welcome to the lounge.

See this thread for some help on your specific example, not sure about the general question.

Thank you – the thread you pointed me to does help handle the two spaces example, but doesn’t talk about how to change the Word setting for it through VBA.

I’ve done some more research that seems to indicate the detailed proofing settings apply to Outlook and Word, and are stored in the registry rather than being application or document or whatever properties.

Does anybody else have a potential solution?
