I did a program in asp, and due to the fact the country i have to implement it in, has expensive internet access. So it defeats the purpose
of using asp. As in the user cannot be expected to be logged in all day as was assumed.
Anyway, I’ve resorted to using access. So the user can do all the edits offline. This is what I hope for the access db to do, i have an access db on an iis server, and have 19 pcs connected to the server via the internet. Each client machine will have an access application, which can login, download/upload data then disconnect from the internet. All this done via access, rather then the asp scripts I’ve already done.
Now my question is, can anyone please give me any advice on how to go about this. Is there any keywords i should be looking into?, eg linked tables etc
