A few years ago I had a little utility that, when in Windows Explorer, allowed you to right click on any file and in the context menu was an item that said Notes or maybe Description. Anyway this menu item allowed you to add any text you wanted to that file. Notes to yourself, install date, bugs, key code whatever. This text was part of the file so you could move or copy the file and the notes would stay with it. I recently found a similar utility called Folder Remarker, but it keeps all the notes in a separate database, so if you move the original file you lose the associated note. Does anyone know of a utility that will allow me to keep notes with a file, is small, simple and free or inexpensive?
