Does anyone know how to progmatically bypass the dialog message that appears when you open a workbook that contains macro’s?

    Thanks,

The message is due to Microsofts attempt at virus checking.
If you are confident that your virus checker software is reliable you can remove the check by going to the Tools menu, Macro, security settings and then set the option to low.

Note that changing this setting for excel will alter the setting for Word etc too.

Now, that would really defeat the whole purpose of the message wouldn’t it. If that were possible, then all the virus writers would have to do is turn it off. The message is displayed before any VBA code is executed and can not be eliminated by code.
