I am thinking of installing mobile Firefox on my Android phone with version 2.3.5 gingerbread. But am not sure it won’t be slow even on WI-Fi connections to be any good. Opera for mobile seems to work quite well but has this annoying habit of not connecting to some sites (not sure why) as the built in Google browser does connect to these sites.
Just after ideas whether it is worth installing as I do like my desktop Firefox.

I am using Firefox on my Asus Transformer tablet. I especially like that the ad-block plugin is available for it, some web sites are unreadable due to the number of in-your-face adds, and adblock makes such sites usable. I’m even responding to this using Firefox on my tablet. I use Dolphin onmy phone, I tried an earlier version of Firefox on my phone and was unhappy with the amount of resources it consumed. But itwas easy to uninstall, so give it a try and uninstall if you don’t like it.

      Thanks cafed00d
I tried it on my Motorola Razr but did not like it was much slower than Google and Opera and did not display pages very well. Thanks for the tip that it could be uninstalled as I was worried that it would be uninstallable.
