Just a quick clarification– iOS 18.5 enables carrier-provided satellite services (e.g. T-Mobile/Starlink, on the iPhone 13 but not Apple’s Emergency SOS feature. The latter relies on features found only in the modems used in iPhone 14 and newer.

(I support 100 iOS devices, so that announcement was relevant to my interests…)
