Hello all….I am building a report with a monthly calendar type layout. (Sundays through Saturdays, left to right) I have 31 textboxes I am populating from a select query. In the section detail OnFormat I have code picking a date field apart and dropping the data in the textbox corresponding to the calendar. The problem is that each record is being loaded as a single page. I have to scroll to the last page for all of the textboxes to be loaded. I have tried repainting in the loop, to no avail. If anyone has ideas for a solution, or a better way to do this, your help will be greatly appreciated…..Thank you, Dave P.

AskWoody LoungerOctober 29, 2002 at 1:30 am #627250If you go to the Utteraccess.com website there is a leave calendar that I created a couple of days ago. If you search by user name vicki_b you will see the post regarding the calendar there. Unfortunately I can’t upload it to here as it is slightly to big even when zipped! It may have some functionality that you are looking for if there are any question as to how or why I have done some thing please feel free to ask.
Cheers

AskWoody_MVPOctober 29, 2002 at 3:35 pm #627347It sounds like you are binding the data source to the report, which would likely cause the behavior you are seeing. I think the approach of using an unbound report, and then with the OnFormat event, opening a recordset, stepping through it, and populating each of the text boxes would give you a better result. That may well be the solution Vicki proposes (BTW, I can’t find her post either), but in order to know for certain the best approach, we would need details on the table structures involved.

Hey dave,
Try the following link.
http://www.utteraccess.com/forums/showflat…true#Post128021%5B/url%5DHopefully if you cut this and put it in your browser it will take you to the right page.
If thhis doesn’t work then under the UA banner there is a menu where one of the options is search. Click on this the put vicki_b in the “words to search for” field then change the “search options” field to by username it will then bring you up all the posts that I have made click on any of the posts titled “Leave callendar – almost” and you will find the file as an attachment.
Hope this helps
Cheers
Vicki.
