I am using both a dail up modem and local network for connecting to the internet. I set up the Tools, Internet Option, Connections, LAN Settings, Automatic Configuration to Use “the automation configuration script” and enter the required address of the script. Everything works great until i reboot the computer. the next time I start Internet Explorer it has unchecked the selection and lost the script address. I re-enter everything again, but it looses it on every reboot. I an set up as Administrator on this Win XP machine so it’s not a rights issue. Any suggestions.
