From a database i have inherited, I have noticed that any forms background colours are white until the cursor is put into the control when the background changes to yellow?
This doesn’t happen for all controls though just the majority.
There is no code to change this background colour or at least i cannot see it.
    Can anybody shed some light?

      Pat

Conditional Formatting can be used to do that.

Spot on John, I didn’t think to look at that, silly me.

You may as well cancel the one over the other side as well.

Pity MS didn’t provide an option to make all controls in a form like that with exclusions, this makes development that much quicker. There are quite a few forms with tabs and many controls, to do that manually takes a lot of time.

You can apply Conditional Formatting to multiple controls at once, provided they all start with the same formatting.

I didn’t know that duh, but it makes a lot of sense.

      Thanks again John
