I run W7 Home premium SP1 on a desktop. I have benn running MSSE along with MalwareBytes Pro with no problems. Yesterday I replaced MSSE with BitDefender AntiVirus (free.)

Since then pictures/images do not show on sites such as the Drudge Report. Sometimes a grey “X” appears. Sometimes nothing appears as a place-holder, but from the context I know the space on the web-page should show a picture.

Are any other BitDefender users having this problem?

Can anyone help me resolve this issue?

I would like to continue using BitDefender because it appears to score much higher than MSSE on effectiveness tests.

    Thank you,
    Dick

BitDefender is very good! I went with AVG, then with Avast, because I could tweak them, diddle with the settings. BitDefender, a browser extension/add-on/plug-in might be blocking flash OPs. Which browser? My FF warns me if flash is being blocked. ?Wondering if BitDefender inserted an Ext. or plugin?

Just be aware that another forum member has been experiencing clipboard problems when using BitDefender. Have a look at post #12 in this GodMode thread.

      Hope this helps…
